If you are familiar with the Ephraim Project, a faith-based Orlando nonprofit, that collects clothing for the homeless, you know just how amazing it is.
This cadre of volunteers serves “the poorest among us” in an active demonstration of Christ’s love. They do this by providing a weekly hot dinner to homeless families on Fridays and by providing clothing and other necessities throughout the year.
When we heard about these efforts a few years ago, we knew we wanted to be involved in this heartfelt mission. During our holiday clothing drive with the Ephriam Project in December locals businesses gathered 33 BungoBoxes full of clothing and hygiene products. That’s 108.5 cubic feet of supplies weighing in at more than 1,200 pounds.
A huge thanks to everyone who made this possible! If you’d like to volunteer with the Ephraim Project, check out the opportunities listed on www.theephraimproject.org/#!__get-involved.
