Orlando, Fla. (May 31, 2012) - BungoBox, a plastic moving box rental company, is proud to announce a new franchise in Austin, Texas, bringing the total number of BungoBox locations in Canada and the U.S. to 16.
BungoBox, founded in May 2009, rents reusable plastic boxes to save consumers time and money over traditional moving methods. The edgy and innovative company takes the hassle out of moving by delivering its stackable moving boxes to a customers’ doorstep. (A large box of about 2.5 cubic feet rents for $1.75 a week.) Once they’ve been unpacked, BungoBox picks them up at the new residence.
The new franchise was awarded to Austin metro business partners Lauren Doering, Keely Doering, Jay Shiffler, David Van Noy, and Steve Doering. It is slated to begin operations in July 2012.
“I’m excited to expand the BungoBox presence to Texas,” Doering says. “BungoBox is growing rapidly, and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
And the growth spurt won’t end anytime soon. BungoBox co-founders, Tom and Bob Cannon, say part of the plan includes expanding operations by opening 150 franchise locations in the next five years as part of a steady and strategic growth strategy
“Part of our success is about searching for talented and dedicated franchisees,” said Tom Cannon, BungoBox co-founder and CEO. “We believe these new franchisees will cultivate lasting customer relationships and become an integral part of their communities.”
BungoBox is an innovative company that is transforming the traditional moving process. Committed to helping consumers save time and money with an eco-friendly alternative to cardboard boxes, BungoBox has 16 locations (15 franchise locations and one corporate location).
