One Less Thing to Worry About
In short, there is no way my wife and I could have made our move without our BungoBoxes. Equal parts product and service, the BungoBox experience made our move faster, easier and more affordable.
In late July, I moved my wife, my two dogs and everything we owned halfway across Austin. The two of us have each moved eight times in the last nine years, each time dreading the move more and more. Thanks to BungoBox, this one was the smoothest yet.
Three key elements caused us to kick cardboard to the curb and never look back: Quality of product, convenience of service and overall value.
Quality of product—As a newly married couple, we found out pretty fast that transporting our wedding china in a cardboard box just wasn't going to cut it. The more we thought about it, though, we weren't comfortable putting anything in a cardboard box. Whether it was her crystal and picture frames or my PlayStation 3 and sports memorabilia, why were we storing our items in cardboard boxes that could tear easily and offer no protection from the sun or rain? And packing tape? Give me a break. The BungoBoxes were lightweight yet incredibly strong, and their interlocking lids that could be pad-locked or zip-tied closed made us feel much safer about packing and shipping our valuables. We also loved the easily-removable stickers provided for labeling each box; no more illegible Sharpie-scribbles on the side of a cardboard box. Best of all, when the first box was unpacked, we filled it with ice and beer to "aid" in our unpacking process.
Convenience of service—When you're trying to pack up your old house and move to a new one, the last thing you want to think about is where you're going to get cardboard boxes, or worse, what in the world you're going to do with them when you're done. The guys at BungoBox not only provided us with a superior product, but they delivered AND picked up the boxes for us. How did this help? On the front end, we weren't scrambling to borrow or purchase cardboard boxes; instead, BungoBoxes were placed neatly in our living room two days before our move. On the back end, we scheduled a pick-up time and the boxes were out of our hair before we knew it. Our cardboard boxes from the year before had sat in the garage and grown tattered and weak from the elements. Perhaps even more important than that, the BungoBox team helped us decide how may boxes we need. They didn't try to oversell us of force to "upgrade" to the next combo package; they made us comfortable about their products and helped us get the most out of the service.
Overall value—Until I used BungoBoxes, I had no idea how much money I was wasting on moving supplies each year. Before booking with BungoBox, a major moving company tried to sell my wife a cardboard and packing-tape "kit" for more than $300. All she had to do was drive 25 minutes out of her way and hopefully the company "might still have some in stock." BungoBox didn't just offer a better product than cardboard—they did it for nearly one-third of the price. With the combined quality of both product and service, their affordable prices were worth every penny.
Don and the team at BungoBox made this such a surprisingly good experience for my wife and I that we've already recommended them to many of our friends and colleagues. I'm not sure I'll ever truly look forward to moving, but if I have to, I'm glad to know BungoBox will give me one less thing to worry about.

*"Service Experience"
1 The Service *BOTH* Drop off and Pick up *FREE*
2.The "Service Experience" I had -Drop off/Pick UP--very professional. cordial, even down to the "little details" on drop off the gentleman gave me labels and advised me not to use anything "very sticky" (leaves residue) as they'll have to charge to remove-- Awesome, never thought of that! "Warned" beforehand!!!!
3 As anyone who has bought a new place, things never go as planned,. I didn't close as planned on my first condo. I had to SCRAMBLE to find a "temp home" to live.These Boxes protected my valuables the 2 months it took me to find my "New Top Floor Condo"!! : )
4 The several times, I had to extend my "pick up" time, each time they were very accommodating/understanding.
*Product Experience*
1. Without question, I will *NEVER* move without using these boxes. I would describe as "medium duty/high quality construction" ex -it's not like you have a bunch of "Warehouse Grade" 20 pound (empty) plastic boxes in your house. (nor are they "cheap plastic" Target grade you fill more than 10 lbs full and they crack apart.
2. For example, I was able to fill a box full of Books, which felt like "full" weighed 100-lbs (unbelievably heavy) and never did I worry the bottom would drop out.
3. Reverse example. I forgot to get anything for my glassware, Didn't have time to run, go get a corrugated solution from "THE CS" or the like. Needed to finish packing, thought "oh well, it's my fault, keep my fingers crossed".
I took each wine glass I had, rolled the wine class into "one roll" of a towel, placed the next wine glass into the "Next roll" and so on. so had 4 glasses in a "flat pack" type packing. I then gently stacked each "flat roil" into the crate, placing a bed pillow in the "empty space" to keep them from rattling around.
100%!!! of the wine glasses (and "daily drinking glasses" )Survived!!!--THREE home moves.. Never would I expect that in a corrugated box.
4.The boxes (empty) "Nest" into each other so again, it's not like you have a house full of boxes to maneuver around.
5. Full of your valuables, the boxes "stack" on each other *almost* into a "Locked fashion"
6.Last but definitely not least, if you are a "Green Conscious" person, this is *THE ULTIMATE* "Green Solution" I'm guessing those boxes are reused dozens of times before "retired" (and probably retired to some "warehouse" that needs a secure solution to store long term items (ie. protect from water, bugs, etc).
*Conclusion*
I can honestly say there was *NOTHING* I can say negative about the Company, their personnel, their product, or the move experience as it pertained to the quality of the product/service they offer.
*THE ONLY* thing I'd say they need to "improve upon" is the ability to find them on the Web. When I knew I wanted this solution, I kept getting companies located in California (where I'm sure this is very popular due to the "Green Initiative").

A Perfect Solution
I wanted to thank you for providing my husband and I with BungoBoxes for our move to North Phoenix. What a great solution! The last time we moved, I bought recycled cardboard boxes but after unpacking, was faced with the issue of what to do with all of them. It took weeks to get them “processed” – broken down, flattened, stacked and then put in the front yard (hoping that the wind wouldn’t blow them around) to be picked up by the City of Phoenix. Recycling them was a royal pain as the City of Phoenix had strict requirements for how to prepare them for pick up. Our 2-car garage was virtually useless until we were able to get rid of them.
The BungoBoxes are a perfect solution. They were no more money than the cardboard boxes, and we didn’t have to tape them together. They actually hold a lot more, are stronger and the various sizes were very useful. The best thing about the BongoBoxes was the dolly they sat on. During packing, you could move them around easily after loading them and could stack them 4 boxes high. This made packing and unpacking a breeze. After the move, you could wheel the boxes where they needed to go for unpacking and once empty, they stacked together tightly and took up no more room in the garage than two boxes would on the floor. And, there is nothing to recycle, as the boxes are reusable and already made of recycled plastic. A green solution that keeps unwanted boxes out of landfills and conserves resources.
We will gladly use BungoBoxes whenever we move (if we ever move again), and appreciated your service and timely delivery and pickups. You always let us know when you were going to be there and your delivery windows were accurate – you were on time for both the drop off and pick up.
